The Alice Cooper found charity hosts an annual celebrity golf tournament, the Alice Cooper Celebrity AM, which is its main money maker for the year. MTX is in its ninth year of title sponsorship of the tournament, each year striving to raise more money for the charity.

Every year, the Celebrity AM is held in Phoenix, AZ drawing many famous faces all with the goal of raising money for Solid Rock. The charity is dedicated to providing teenagers and children in Arizona and nationwide with essentials like education, medical care, food, clothing and housing as well as after-school and summer activities. MTX is proud to support the efforts of Alice Cooper and the Solid Rock Foundation and hopes to continue to help raise donations well past the two million dollar mark in the upcoming years.

Tony Yayo's new video, "So Seductive" features 50 Cent, among other G-Unit members, with MTX loaded in the trunk of a black Mercedes CLS55 AMG. Within the first thirty seconds of the video, Tony Yayo and 50 Cent pop the trunk open to reveal a chest-pounding install including an MTX SledgeHammer loaded with 10" MTX High-Performance woofers and a new Thunder 5302 amplifier.

MTX was also on the set of the new Fat Joe/Nelly video, "Get it Poppin'." MTX provided TP112 loudspeakers to deliver the beats by the pool. The video had its world premier on MTV last week and is now in heavy rotation on the network.

Even if you don't have access to MTV or BET, just get out on the streets and you'll hear the famous MTX two-block bass thumping from the new Will Smith Hummer street vehicle. (PHOENIX, AZ, USA) - If you're partying in the Westport area of Kansas City and you hear thunderous bass blasting from a bus big enough to carry more than 20 people, you've officially just witnessed one of the newest phenomena in the car audio industry: the Party Bus. Provided by A Girls Night Out Limo Company, the new Party Bus features a host of all-night party essentials including a killer sound system provided by MTX. Two subs, three amps and eight coaxials make this bus hard to miss even among some of the loudest, flashiest clubs and vehicles in the KC area.

The idea for the Party Bus was born when John Beinz from A Girls Night Out Limo Company noticed that he was missing out on big group parties because his limos only seated ten. Thus, he acquired an airport shuttle bus and commissioned Rod Rogers and his team at AutoCoustics to make it the most rockin' bus in the Midwest. After two and a half weeks and about 470 man hours, the bus was ready to roll. The new install features two sixteen gallon keg tubs, an X Box, 19" TV, karaoke and a booming MTX system that consists of a new MTX Thunder81001 amplifier, two Thunder3404 amps, two 12" Thunder9500 Superwoofers in a SledgeHammer enclosure and eight Thunder Dome Axial 6502 6 ½" coaxial speakers all in a custom install presented on the back wall of the bus under Plexiglas. A 1 farad StreetWires capacitor and StreetWires ZN3 interconnects were also used to hook up the system.

"The system in the bus is just amazing," Rogers commented. "When you're standing on the outside, all the windows look like they're going to blow out. We went down to Westport a few weekends ago to debut the bus and start a buzz about it and we had it cranked up all night outside the clubs. We ran two to three hundred people through it and all of them came out smiling."

When deciding which car audio brand to feature in the install, Rogers comments that MTX seemed to be the perfect fit for all of his needs. "We wanted something flashy, something that was loud and had some bling too," Rogers continues. "We were originally intending to do a purple light scheme on the inside and MTX's PrizmEFX made it possible to customize the color of the LEDs on the amps so the entire install came out looking really hot. And the sound was just amazing."

But the MTX install in the Party Bus is more than just eye and ear candy. During its official debut, the MTX system proved its mettle by hammering hard for over 10 hours nonstop. Thanks to the new Xtant Technologies Cooling system, even after being maxed out for that long, the amps stayed cool as the night melted away into the early morning.

You can find the new Party Bus anywhere the party scene is hot in Kansas City as well as at the Kansas City Bridal Spectacular in July. Just look for the MTX and StreetWires logos on the exterior of the bus and listen for the rumble.
